Lest we forget. 108 years ago, the tragedy of Gallipoli took nearly 3,000 Kiwi lives.
We must remember all those who made the ultimate sacrifice, so that New Zealand could remain free, and democratic to this day.
We should honour all those who have served, and continue to serve in the New Zealand Defence Force at home and abroad today.
As democracy falls in NZ let’s hope ANZAC Day allows for reflection on where we have come from, and why it’s important to remove the current government before all is lost.
