With the continued allegations swirling around the Manurewa Marae, TPM and the Waipārera Trust, it appears that the Manurewa Marae is behind in filing its annual accounts.
Records show the last filing was the 2021 accounts, 2022 and 2023 remaining outstanding.
They are well overdue.
Let’s hope the Charities Commission, and the Electoral Commission investigate as part of their wide ranging investigation.
Given the TPM candidate, and now MP, Takutai Tarsh Kemp was the Chief Executive until she narrowly beat Peeni Henare, it raises further questions as to why the annual accounts have not been filed.
