At 6.07am this morning, June 16th 2024, Breakfast tv show host Jenny May Coffin made her apology to the NZ public for the disgraceful content with regard to the shooting of a Donald Trump doll live on the show.
Coffin sighted “pressure from the resurfacing of the clip on various social media channel” as the reason for the apology.
We wrote to TVNZ early yesterday, and followed up later in the day, and whilst we received no replies, quite clearly our email and that of others pushed the state broadcaster to make the apology.
As usual MSM was nowhere to be seen.
Watching Coffin squirm on live on TV having to admit she was wrong was no doubt difficult for her, but a very good lesson.
However, the question the remains unanswered is who at TVNZ allowed this to happen, and which show director approved it for the broadcast?
It’s seems to be a continuation of the idiotic and elite culture at TVNZ.
This site is still waiting for a reply from the Minister, Paul Goldsmith.
