More fool those at this investigative blog site who thought we had seen the last of this tax payer funded nuisance.
Just when the protesting degenerates at the Green Party thought their ‘annus horribilis’ was coming to a close, out from behind her Persian rug pops convicted criminal, Golriz Ghaharman, with an appeal attempt on her convictions.
The appeal comes as little surprise to us, as the look of bewilderment on Ms Ghaharman’s face in the District Court the day she was convicted was one of utter disbelief.
Once again the ‘poor me’ defence is being thrown up, GG cant get a job offshore, and it’s affecting her mental health.
For a start, a microscope needs to be placed on just exactly what kind of legal work Ms Ghahraman actually engages in when working offshore, as was it she acted for the Hague prosecuting war criminals, or was it she acted for a war criminal in his defence team?
Either way, she played no major role we can see as a prosecutor or a defence lawyer.
We checked into the claim of ‘refugee’ and was told that the only person who considers themselves a refugee is Ms Ghahraman herself. It’s self serving spin for self promotional purposes.
Let’s hope the High Court continues to see through this charade and back up the lower courts decision to convict.
Our suggestion is that the High Court review the sentence handed out and give her an ‘uplift’ to a much harsher penalty.
If having her being paid $160,000.00 a year and feeling the need to steal from high end fashion stores was not enough of a burden for the long suffering tax payers of NZ!
Still, it will be great to see the Green Party enjoy another 6 – 12 months of unwanted media attention thrust upon itself by a disgraced ex MP.
