The NZME Board Dilemma

With the end of the month fast approaching the incumbent NZME Board have some decisions to make.

Will some fall on their sword and attempt to save face and just move on?

By the end of this month the papers need to be sent to Shareholders with the names of those who are wanting to be considered for the Board nominations.

Would any of the current Board be stupid enough to attempt to stand for re-election?

Grenon, who has copped much criticism from the left, just wants a better NZME, one that deals in facts, truth, and honesty, not opinion.

It is a ‘coming to Jesus moment’ for the Board at NZME, where most are just troughers taking a free lunch.

There is however some other factors at play, and some of the Board and Senior Management must be concerned as to the longer term play for their careers, as sources say that there is concern about what will come out about the previous Labour Government, and their influence within NZME via the Covid adverting and messaging.

It was obvious to see that political forces were at play with the ridiculous expenditure that the last government spent with not just NZME, but across the media industry in NZ.

Make NO mistake, we are about to see a shake up like no other.
