Is this the solution to the problems in the House with Brownlee as Speaker? He has lost control of his MPs.
Maybe it is time to say goodbye to Big G with the offer of a Knighthood.
Let’s be honest, thats the only reason why he is hanging in there.
We’ve see it time and time again, those who don’t deserve a Knighthood, but get one any way.
These days they hardly have the kudos they once had. Dont get us wrong, there have been, and are some very special kiwis who deserve the award, but it now is handed out too easily.
We are surprised more recipients have not handed them back for being embarrassed about who they share the honour with.
Sure TPM have brought the House in to disrepute, but equally Brownlee, in his woeful term as Speaker, has allowed the rules to be bent, ignored, and ultimately broken.
Brownlee needs to take some of the blame for the current predicament our Parliament finds itself in.
The Governor General clearly has no intention of stepping in, and Brownlee is clearly happy turning a blind eye to what is now just a farce, and a global humiliation of our Constitution, and our Parliament.
Move on Gerry Brownlee – its time for some order to be brought back to the House.
