Family Court Part 1

It is time to tell my story…

In life some things that happen just seem to so many to be incomprehensible, events and stories that just make the stomach churn, lies that are promoted as peoples truths to form a narrative in order to absolve themselves from any wrong doing.

The Family Court in NZ is a place of devastation, a mire of hideous backlogs, a place where saying anything goes, perjurous affidavits are the norm, lawyers who lie and are so incompetent, a place where people are guilty until they prove their innocence, which for so many takes years, and in some cases it sadly never happens.

Suicide is an all too common outcome.

We have sat for quite some time on my story – a story that will become quite uncomfortable for some. Protagonists who have attempted (and failed) to use wealth, and their so called influence to destroy a father to protect their own reputation.

It is time to set the record straight.

In NZ, the Family Court does not take an inquisitorial approach, but rather a guilty until proven innocent, which in our view is highly adversarial. That not does create great outcomes. For anyone navigating the Family Court, our suggestion is try and move to a higher court as soon as possible, however that is not always possible.

In the coming weeks and months, as it will take that long, I will talk about the journey I was forced into, one of a fight for years, a fight with a savagery that no father should be put through.

Will we name names? Yes we will.

Stories that will blow peoples minds… multiple false Police complaints, deliberate and knowingly false, a Police complaint “just for the file” without actually being investigated, stories of me being in prison, being a money launderer, death threats, being a gang member, stories of people needing security to keep safe, allegations that were supported by no facts what so ever, just wild stories made to frighten people away from me.

I had to resign from a job I loved after it was made known that a letter was to be circulated about me to a company offshore complaining that I worked for the NZ operation. A threat that ultimately backfired on the protagonist who thought he wielded enough clout to force people away from supporting me.

What’s funny is that after years of fighting, and the heavy and embarrassing loses in the High Court, and the Court of Appeal, then back to the Family Court, the other side asked if we could settle at 50/50 custody to ‘make all this go away’. But thats not a story they tell, it is a very uncomfortable truth they ignore.

My story will be one that will raise eyebrows, but is also a cautionary tale, and yet a warning to those who are stuck in a court system that creates very little by way of outcomes that benefit the children.

As a self represented litigant on this journey, I have seen it all, heard it all, and experienced it all. I have set precedent in the Courts, battled senior Counsel, some of whom were just happy to take the money, Lawyers with no moral conscience or compass.

My first story will be about a deliberate false Police complaint to get me arrested, a false complaint with allegations of threats that were untrue, and a lawyer on record to the Police saying “we have to get him charged as we have a High Court hearing coming up”.
